Anyone have any feedback on the Balda Super Baldax with 80mm F3.5 Baldanar lens? I found one and curious to know more about them. Jurgen (Cert06) has some info on them at his site, but only lists the f2.8 Radionar, and 2.8 Ennit versions. Nothing about the Baldanar F3.5 . It's for me to be able to ALWAYS carry a camera and film with me and not worry about a bag full of stuff to carry around. Even though I like my Mamiya 6 MF for hiking, I still need a bag and all the gear, and it's stuff that can get in the way.

Thanks

I have one with the Baldinar lens; I like it, although I think the Trinar and Radionar lenses seem to be preferred. Mine is quite sharp even at larger apertures, and the OOF areas are pleasing; I find the print quality comparable to a similar vintage Rolleiflex Tessar. The winding mechanism is a little eccentric, though! YMMV
