Hey all,
So I biffed on loading a real of Ilford 3200 the other day, and ended up with a big nasty spot about 3 frames long that is opaque and milky.
My concern is that there are some residual chemicals leftover that might damage the rest of the film over time, or jeopardize any other films nearby.
What's the protocol for this? Would you recommend refixing, washing, or what? I just dont' want to store a chemically-laden strip of film with other negatives with the fear that it will contaminate it over time, etc. Basically I'm paranoid and want to know what is recommended.
And if you're the kind of person that doesn't use stop, don't bother responding
I want to hear from the thorougly fastidious, neurotic archivists, "cleanliness fetishists" out there.
Thanks in advance!
