Damn, hope no else jumps in here to praise the Fuji GA645Zi. If this keeps up I will never be able to buy another one at a reasonable price.

And let's hope none of the Leica gurus discover the GA 645Zi because the 6X4.5 negative of this camera really blows 35mm film out of the water.

I own Leica M, too. But you're totally correct that 35mm (even Leitz optics) can't even come close to competing with that 645 neg! And, the Fuji really gives little up to the Leica vis-a-vis build quality. Okay, shhh, let's not tell anyone else...this APUG community is a pretty chatty group!

I'll second the suggestion for a folder. I use an Agfa Isolette III with an Apotar or Solinar lens when I want to take a MF camera backpacking. When tuned up and used with a lightweight tripod, they are capable of very good results. They are light and compact enough that I can take them on week long solo trips. I bring a Gossen pilot meter and cable release as well.

I have both the GS645S and the GS645. The light meters in both cameras are right on. The 60mm lens on the GS645S always amazes me; it as sharp as can be. The lens 75mm lens on the GS645 folder is also amazingly sharp. The folder is easer to carry. I also have a Bronica RF645; I had the 45mm, 65mm and 100mm lenses for it (I have sold the 45mm and 100mm lens and have the body the 65mm lens and dedicated flash for sale on this site). No question that the interchange able lenses are great and the built in light meter, light the Fuji's is right on. But, to me, the Bronica does not produces as sharp a negative as the Fuji's.
