Looks like I won't make this event...working on the Mansfield house that weekend (floors, walls, kitchen remodel stuff...) Have a great time down there.

I would **LOVE** to be there, but...
Saturdays (i.e. the 26th) are "Dialysis Days", and I'll be lying on my back with needles in my arm, from 6:45 AM to 11:30, leaving me with less energy than found in a worn dish rag. If I start for Connecticut immediately after, I would arrive at ....
I've tried to reschedule - not a great deal of succcess yet.

All this sounds like great FUN!!. I'll be there in spirit, anyway.

Ed, we would be happy as hell to have you with us in Waterford, but it's enough to know that, after all you've been through, you're with us - period. Dialysis may be a pain, but it keeps you functioning - worth it in the long run, I think. We'll do a Sunday,... or a Thursday or something later on. Hope all else is going Ok. We'll have a glass of something for you and think friendly thoughts. Be well.

Drew, I'll make that coffee in your case and think just as many friendly thoughts. Good shooting!

OK, Last bump. I'm going out of internet land and will welcome anyone who shows on Saturday. By my last count, it should be about 25, but then I'm an optimist. See you at the beach.

I'm baaaaack! I am forgoing the Origami USA convention for this, so you guys know how much I like ya'll. :D Hey, does anyone want to do breakfast in the early morning? At http://www.whenpigsflycafe.com/ in Jordan, CT? Say at 8:30am?

Regards, Art.

Thank you very much Whitey and Lena. Rose and I had a great time. It was great to meet everyone in the group.
So much for "online" community, and so much the better.

Thanks for putting this on Whitey.
Had a great time visiting old friends and meeting new ones.

Oh no you didn't, Gene, you finished it. All I had left was a dish of M&M's, peanut, no less...yuck! :>P

(For those who may not get this exchange... Papagene is convinced that Dove chocolate is an allergy medicine. Since I'm willing to believe anything Gene says, we provided him with all the medicine he needed this weekend.)

:D :D :D

Thanks for all the nice words, everyone, and thanks even more for coming. Suzanne, it was great to see all the APUG kids having a good time together. Bill, as usual, you're the first to post images- thanks. That first gentleman, folks, is the famous Dick Welch, source of much on my gear and of unmeasurable photo knowledge and lore. Just about everything I have given away in the past three or four years actually came from him.

Next year?

Sorry to have missed this AGAIN. I did have a decent day on Mt Washington finding wildflowers. Any chance of a second gathering in August?

Maybe we'll have to do it up in Charlemont, then. Let's see how it works out.

We had such a nice day, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. I treasure days like this... with good company, good food, lots of kids, and, of course, a beach.

The reason for the bump? I've finally had a moment to process some film, and here are two that I quite like, so I thought I'd share them here.
