Nooo....I suspect it is an opportunity to let one's mind boggle at the possibilities of what may have happened on the back seat.

faulty battery connection, hot manifold, slight oil leak from a firewall mounted external oil cooler,
rubber core of stock gasoline eroded ... so the car ended up a "burner" ... even tho the rear seat cushion was removed, and the back folded flat providing more room, it didn't help much when
the smoke and flames started
the back seat remained in storage ...
maybe that is what happens to the back seat ?
