Here we are in the center of all media, the capital of photography, and _B&W Magazine_ shows up in Omaha before we can buy it in New York City.

Ahhh, the indignity! The indignity!

Texas,Hawaii and Pennsylvania-I guess those of us on the edge of this country and those beyond(Sean)have to place our faith in the worlds postal systems.

Heck, add me to the list. I'm in California and B&W hasn't made its way to me yet. It's one of my favorite magazines so I'm always waiting anxiously.

Cheers,

James

I scanned this for you unfortunates...not great (the scanning) but a six page article is very nice. The images are excellent and nice to see other than on the web. Congrats Sean et al. Enjoy (if I uploaded this right...)

Matt

Thanks for the scan Matt. I haven't received my copy yet either (but I just subscribed yesterday after seeing this thread posted).

I was happy to see some of the prints I've received in the Print Exchanges in the article.

Sean, I think the interview came out well. No idea what revisions you wanted, but I like it the way it is.

Apologies to John, I see they got his surname wrong. I did put in a request for that to be corrected
Aaahhh weeeell. At least I don't have to update all the search tags on the website I don't have yet.

Thanks for the scan Blaze-on. Great to see Sean's article this side of Christmas.

Same one Jim.

Thanks Alex, that was basically the first draft of the interview. They asked if I wanted changes and I reworked some things and sent them in, they acknowledged that they got them and would do them, so not sure what went wrong there. My changes shifted the tone from their original focus of digi vs. trad. to a more apug oriented article. Also there was the usual stuff paraphrased wrong and taken out of context. Well, like Jorge told me in a PM, there is no such thing as bad publicity.. I am thankful for the opportunity they gave us and am glad we've made it into a well known magazine

My copy came in the mail on Chritmas Eve, so it has made it to Texas now. A very nice article Sean and will bet that it bumps the number of hits and members up. Congratulations to all of those that had their work published...it looked good (though I thought it was all printed a little dark). Oh Yeah, as an aside, the Contact Printers Guild has an ad following the article..it only seemed right that they would be the next thing I saw after I turned the page.

I just picked up mine at a newsstand uptown in NYC, though over the last few days, I've seen stacks of the Dec. issue still at a few B&N's and a Borders not too far away.

Went to Hastings and Barnes & Noble today and they still didn't have them in stock on the shelf or in the backroom.

Will check again before I go on vacation--should be good reading in the airport, though I did pick up the David Goldfarb Leo Tolstoy book from Barnes & Noble today...GO DAVID!

note: David did the intro and notes for the Barnes & Noble edition of a collection of Tolstoy's stories headed by The Death of Ivan Ilych. If I remember correctly, there is an older post about this (the book came out in 2003), but no reason not to give David a bump.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'm working on Turgenev's _Fathers and Sons_ for the same series. It should be out next year sometime.
