hello my friends which film still in commerce looks very clos to orwo np20? with terrific midtones and clean highlights?

FP4, Foma 100, Foma 200 (realistically nearer 125 speed) - develop in something classic like ID-11/ D-76 or Perceptol at 1+1 or so. Don't overdevelop, expose fairly generously.

I worked with NP 20 for around 25 years.

Foma 100 tends to block highlights, gray tones are very different. FP4 ist different too, but not as strong as Foma 100. Foma 200 ist closer and a much better film.
The closest at least for me ist Kentmere100/APX 100(new)/CHM 100 (it is all the same).
BTW: Kentmere 400 ist similar to NP27.
