Rather than digital, I was thinking of bringing film (or having it shipped by B&H) when I am there for a week or two in the summer. I'd rather not carry undeveloped film back to California. Is there anywhere left on the island that develops film? Don't need scanning or printing.

Just a little bit north of the island:

Orleans Camera, for C41, 135 only, uncut rolls.

B&W: My primitive darkroom, also in Orleans, if you can DIY (see below) , and also cope with the messy basement, leading to it?

EDIT: "primitive" means Paterson reels, Xtol clone, Rodinal, Ilford Rapid Fixer, Ilford wash method, nothing fancy, but you can improvise as you see fit.

Thank you very much for the offer. I was actually thinking of developing film with the large amount of down time I would have there. In my Nantucket basement, a large part of it is walled off without windows. I could just send some chemicals for B&W developing. Being there 2 weeks at a time in the Summer, now that the kids are all grown and don't need us to take them around, it gets kind of boring. There is only so much reading, hiking and sitting at the beach one can do. I am starting C41 developing in California and got the FlicFilm color bath contraption along with the Arista (CineStill) 1 quart kits. If this turns out well, I may also consider doing color as well. My assumption would be that I would have 20-30 rolls per visit to develop for it to make sense.

Well, the main body of the Cape is only a ferry ride away for you, and there are quite a few interesting, colorful spots, and out of the way trails.
For example, Provincetown "light" is known by artists to be unique, and you can experience it when town first appears around the bend of the road!

I can document, as needed.
