I ordered some B&W developer a couple of weeks ago. Today I went to do the same thing just to find out that a lot of chemicals are now in store only pick up. Anybody know what's up? I remember this being an issue in 2016.
Both liquid chemicals, aren't they?? Is the latter perhaps un-AmericanI noticed. I can order TMax liquid developer but not DDX.

I got the TMax from B&H which is less expensive and free shipping too with a minimum order. I like both developers so no problem.https://www.adorama.com/ilddx5l.html
Adorama is selling it 22 bucks plus 7 dollars to ship a single bottle
UPS ground isn't a problem, from anyone else. I think it's just a combination of business decisions, UPS probably gives them a better deal if certain items aren't shipped especially when things are so nuts.I talked with B&H about this and they say it is a carrier restriction and they have nothing to do with it. However, they did not know if this restriction was going to be in effect for a while or not.
Freestyle is still shipping all chemicals as normal.

As of 30 sec ago, DD-X was available for shipping. On the other hand, DD in 5 liters was not.I noticed. I can order TMax liquid developer but not DDX.
Probably due to the terms of the special deal they have with the shipping companies they use when they offer their favourable "free shipping" to customers. It is not in B&H's interest to send business to Freestyle, therefore, I conclude that B&H faces additional restrictions because of shipper contracts or local ordinances.

So unless this advert is older than the time to which wyofilm refers or it is tailored to being able to distinguish where the user is when navigating the site and we know for definite that some areas of the U.S. are covered by an "OK to ship" then it would seem that things are still confusedNot a big deal to me because I ended up purchasing something else but DDX is still available for in-store pickup only here. It is even more confusing! This is a newly refreshed screen shot ...Not a big deal to me because I ended up purchasing something else but DDX is still available for in-store pickup only here.
