Anyone know how to troubleshoot the flash port. I had this apart when I re-greased the focus lever and I am pretty sure the flash worked before I took it apart. I don't want to take it apart again unless I am going to do something to fix it. The flash will fire if I position the cord just right on the port.

Good Morning, Campy 51,

Can you describe how you solved the problem? I have the same situation with my Autocord.

The two wire contacts on the shutter were either touching each other or the red wire needed to be re-soldered. The red wire needed better contact but before I re-soldered it I separated the 2 contacts a little more and did a test fire and it worked.
