Australian International Airshow - This weekend.

Anyone going to be there from the Oz APUG crew?

I'm driving down to Melbourne with a couple of friends for Friday through Sunday. Friday night is the late night spectacular at the airshow but Saturday night might be a possibility for some other shooting or maybe a beer/meal.

Hope the weather forecast is wrong (Showers on and off...)

Hi Glenn, my partner and I were able to take photos from our backyard as various planes flew over. Not quite as good as being there, but just as noisy.

We were at a winery not too far away from the air show and there were several cars parked at strategic points taking in the show from the "cheap seats".

I sat there for 3 days, looking mostly "up". Still have the sunburn to show for my efforts. Was huge fun. I loved it. Even the drive back to Sydney to go to work Monday wasn't too bad.

Melbourne weather lived up to it's reputation. Friday, hot, dusty and windy. Saturday, damn cold and windy, some rain. Sunday, perfect but windy..
