NOAA is forecasting a severe (G4) solar storm for tonight and Friday night that may bring the Aurora down to the Oregon-California border. In addition to the Aurora, look west/southwest shortly after sunset beginning Saturday evening through early next week for the best chance to see and photograph Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS. Appearing to be fully intact, the comet is currently at magnitude -3.0 which would make it brighter than Jupiter but much larger in the sky.

Please sent the Aurorae to southern California!

There were a few successful shots here in SF Bay area - enhanced digital capture. The tricky thing is to get away from all the light pollution. I didn't even try looking. Most of the time the coastal fog interferes anyway. It was a whole different experience when I was growing up in the Sierra Nevada - rare instances, but brilliant rippling curtain displays of the lights which I will never forget.

I hope to see it one day! We had clouds here during the latest eclipse and aurora.

Saw the aurora in southern Delaware, naked eye, from our deck. Light pollution muted it a bit.

No luck with the comet tonight; will try again in a couple of days, when it should be easier to spot.

Great Lakes Ohio here,

I didn't see it with my naked eye but I got it on camera, digital though.
