Format
35mm
I've been developing a bit of 16mm the past week or so. It seems my Yankee Clipper tends to scratch up my film. This is a bigger problem with 16mm film. I've heard and read of people taping the film to a roll of 35mm, rolling onto a reel and then developing.

I've tried this a few times and it has not worked. Emulsion facing in, emulsion facing out made no difference. Has anyone ever done this successfully? I found a blog of someone who claims to do this instead of getting 16mm reels. I'm a bit doubtful. I was also told of people that have tried this with APS. Again, unless there is some secret I'm lost.

Anyone have experience with this?
