There are a number of old threads about using infrared in the darkroom, and years ago the ATM Viper night vision monocular was recommended. I bought one but rarely used it. There was a lot of discussion about the illuminator on the unit fogging film as it was possibly in the near infrared spectrum. Nothing available from the manufacturer revealed what spectrum the Viper could see. Several people said they were going to try the unit with 920nm or higher illumination units, but I can’t find if anyone reported back.

does anyone know if the Viper can see 920 - 940nm?
