Articles on Color processing (E6)

Hi all
since purchasing my CPE2+ processor I have been browsing the forums for info on the E6 process and chemistry. Now I'm confused on a higher level.
I have seen contradicting posts on lifespan of the chromes developed in Kodak and Tetenal chemistry, on the number of film that can be developed, cost, problems/no problems
Are ther any reliable articles or such descriping the E6 DIY process?

Although I haven't used the Kodak 5lt E6 kit, my Kodak RA-4 (colour prints from negatives) developer and bleach fix solutions are made in France according to the text on the containers.
