Sweet! Only a few months remaining. And to think I was worried about my absence this summer interfering with the camera's path...

Has anyone thought to calculate the number of miles this camera will have traveled by the time it gets home?

This particular camera we are going to calculate how many days it has sat in various peoples closets.

I am going to ask Sile to pmail each of you his address. I mean you have it anyway from the mail list. Each of you send a nice polite postcard describing why it's important to live up to the group's responsibilities. Then politely inquire as to his health (a Tony Soprano subtlety). Do a bit of begging, then quietly imply the next package will contain chicken (or use your imagination) entrails and you will be putting a benign hex upon his head.

All and all, keep it light. Next we send in the RCMP.

Is it Martin that we're talking about? I forget. Anyway, he might have a very legitimate reason for dropping from view. Seriously, who knows, he may have been run over by a bus. I'm inclined to have one or two people send a postcard. I could be one of them, as he's within 1000km from here, and the mail system within Canada is quite good. Maybe me and 1 other person?

Sorry guys I've been away and totally out of the loop lately..

I think it might just be a good idea to get started on Camera 7 and consign unlucky number 6 to the depths of cornerstones the world over..
Boring and tedious as it seems I'll send a PM to everyone again to be certain they're still in and we'll start over. To those of you who've been here before.. you know it's worth it.. To those of you whom this is your first exchange.. trust us it really is worth it.

I'll get pm's to everyone on the list over the weekend and formulate a list next week.. giving everyone a few days to get back to me. And Tim watch out for an email coming to an inbox near you soon..
