Thank heavens for that! And thank you flatulent1 for that update and the chicken lunch..
I knew I should never have had that burger :surprised:

I've just received the cameras from Black dog - I'll send them on to Steve in about a week or so!

Thanks Blackdog and Catem it's great to hear the camera made it safe and sound..
There's nothing like a bit of panic to start us on our merry way, life just wouldn't be the same without it :D

As for Camera 7.. I am definitely in, great idea Tim!

I got home from Paris yesterday to find the package waiting for me. I will try to take the cameras out this weekend.

Steve.

And I finally got round to taking the shots today. Cameras will be on their way to Norway today or tomorrow.

EDIT: It's on its way!

Steve.

The camera collection arrived in Bergen, Norway today.

I intend to have the shots done by the end of the week. Will let you know when I pass it on to Germany.

Thanks Steve and Bj.. The camera(s) are making their way around Europe nicely!
Let's just hope them furriners across the pond can follow our good example!

:surprised:

It was only about ten days ago that I posted the cameras off and already I have forgotten what I took a picture of!

Steve

Ah, thanks.

Hey, wait a minute...

Do you need me to type it slower :D

Steve I forgot what I took a photo of too!
Then I remembered the cornerstone bit and it all came flooding back to me!

Strangely, the fact that it's a cornerstone doesn't help!

EDIT: I have just remembered what it was!

Steve.

Y'all will get to explain your vision when we post all the photos in the gallery (and torque off a bunch of people again!).

Mine was a metaphysical concept (or I really couldn't think oif anything?). *L*

Vision? We have to have a vision? I thought this was a Point and Shoot camera... You mean I have to THINK?

Damn.

I like:

Crone Stoner
Crone Boners

Thanks flatulent1....but I am afraid the anagram page didn't make a breakthrough....

I had a plan - but ended up with the unplanned plan B. With a couple of pages explanation I believe I will be able to convince you that I have followed the theme...

Anyway - the camera collection is now on its way to Germany.

Ah well, we can but try. On another thread I saw a link to the Galilean Telescope, which led me to a page on Cornerstone Projects in astronomy. Astronomical Cornerstone Projects

But I think I like the anagram generator better.

There's a pic of a very distant building shot through the telescope ($15 + ship) with a P&S. Very cool. At the 50x setting the moon almost fills the optic. I think it's called the Galileoscope, produced by some international astronomy education group. They're doing some neat stuff. This particular scope is Galileo's design with Koeppler's modifications.

I had some absolutely brilliant ideas of what cornerstone photo to take.. after I took my photo and posted the camera..
When you think laterally there are some very clever ideas..
I could tell you all but then then I'd have to kill you ... :surprised:
