You know what I really love about this group?

I know I'm not alone in my insanity... it's a comforting and soothing thought... :w00t:

Steve would that be the long arm of the law then?? :tongue:oliceman:

sorry for my "wasting time" with the cameras.
some problems at the office.

today i took the photos. and at this moment i put them back into the cardboard box.
but it is past 6 pm and so i can´t bring it to the postoffice.
so two more days of delay (the postoffice opens on monday at 8am) :whistling:

Well, like we use to say in Austria...

"C'est la vie" "Let's go down to the Cafe and get a Apfel Strudel mit Schlagsahne, watch the tourists spend money, and listen to Anton Bruckner decompose."

Guess who's back....

1 year, 9 months, 18 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes after they set off.. the travelling cameras of round 6 came home. On the way they gathered some flotsam and jetsam:- a plastic folder to protect the instructions and mailing list, some sticky tape to repair the envelope - November 10th 2010 - (courtesy of Shawn I think??), some beautiful cyanotypes from Sidearm613 (thank you David.. it's gorgeous!) and a wonderful lith print thanks to MartinB (thank you too Martin.. it's just beautiful).. a new camera case for the single use Kodak (no idea where this came from).. and a few stories along the way.

I'm bringing both films to my local film guy to develop and print for me.. I trust him implicitly and after getting them this far, the last thing I want is something untoward to happen to them in the developmental process!!

Hopefully I'll have them back and up here within a few days.. so thank you everyone who made this round a success (did you ever think you'd hear me say that??) and for all the participants for your patience and understanding of all the mishaps and hiccups we encountered along the way xx

Now dare I say it.. Roll on number 8! :w00t:

Neato. This calls for a celebration. I'm going to toast the success of the project with a bowl of Lucky Charms.

Me too....spirit always stands still long enough for the photographer it has chosen..

Are they counting their chickens before they hatch?....:whistling::wink:

All cameras from here on out will be called Camera 6.

tim in san jose

Yes.. imagine it's finished already.... they are with the developers and we may even have some photo's soon...

Tim.. I think you may have a point.. however it may be a better idea to call it perhaps..... Camera 8? But use the actual physical lucky camera 6....

That's gotta bode well.. right?

Wallbergb.. keep an eye on this thread (or a new one started called camera 8) and you are most welcome to join in.
