I live a few miles north of Fayetteville. I love it there. Have you checked out Collier Drug & Photo on Dickson Street?

I grew up in Jacksonville and still have family there and around Little Rock. I get out there on occasion for family visits.

DR317 - Yes i am. Love to go shoot with you sometime. There is a great photographer named Don House that shoots film and lives around there, be sure and look him up. Have fun with your LF.

Cheryl - Your playing with the Cate Brothers?! I used to watch them play a lot at George's.

Yeah, I met Don just last week at a Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas meeting. I love his work.
I shoot primarily 35mm and Medium Format.

I live in Memphis, but am a native of Arkansas. If you folks are going to meet in LR for shooting, ill gladly drive over.

Yes, and we have running water too. Best part is, it doesn't taste like sulfur like it does in Texas.

I intended no disrespect... I was just ribbing you. In fact, would seriously consider moving to the Ozarks.

I've always wanted to meet him(Don) since he is a darkroom rat. I love his series of his kids.

I think it would be awesome if we could have an APUG regional photo day. Maybe we can all meet somewhere cool kinda in the middle like the White River swamp area or something like that? Ideas?!

I would be up for the White River NWR. However, if you guys want to come over to the East, Crowley's Ridge is pretty interesting.

I've always wanted to explore that area! I'm usually in fast pursuit of Memphis. Sounds awesome to me and you could be the guide. Lets see what the other folks say.

My day job may end up moving me to Little Rock. Lots of unreasonable fear and trepidation. I did have a bad experience up at Ozone a few years ago...

Yeah, played with Ernie Saturday night. He's awesome. Also Gerry Moss, Paul Hughes, Bill White, and my regular drummer John Ware. John is the cog in the wheel, having played with all these guys in past bands like Emmylou Harris' Hot Band, Levon Helms, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, the First National Band, Roseanne Cash, and a bunch of others. The whole show is in a barn and all recorded live. It's a hoot.

I suppose we'll be doing it again in August, according to our traditional timeline. You should stop by.
