I think it's the older one--there is no mention of any model or wattage number on the original packaging or the instructions--just that it will last a lifetime. It says "H.I. 23, Pre "B", 8x8, & SP25.chip which aristo do you have?
they made 2 different bulbs for their cold light heads
the older ones were a w45 bulb and the newer ones were
v54 ... the v54 ones work better with multi grade filters
than the older ones ..

good luck !
i have the D2HI (the v54 bulb).
why don't you call voltarc and ask them what you have ?
they can probably tell you by the code on the housing ...
and if it is the old bulb they used to retrofit the new bulb in there too for like $80
( they used to a few years back )

rick's not there anymore but i am sure someone there can help you.
you are right, the price most likely has gone up , everything seems to have gone up ..I checked about a year ago. As I recall, it was much more that $80 - but I could be wrong. Certainly worthwhile to check.

Not only that but just to make matters more confused, I thought the one that looked "cyan" was the V54 and the one that looks whiter was the old kind.Well! 2 opposing answers??
No markings on tube--just a single white bulb. Actually, the white diffusing disc is not attached--does it press on?
