Aristo cold light head for Omega D2 4x5, with PC filters (Kodak + Ilford + CC40Y). Has cone for enlarger, slightly raised on inside with groove cut for filters above diffusion grid. Works quite well! Filter slips in drawer, then Velcro strip/seal makes it light tight. US$70.00 + shipping.

Hi Dennis - I just unpacked it and plugged it in - here is a photo. Let me know if you have any more questions. Peter

This cold light bayonets into an Omega D2 4x5 - won't fit Beseler - unfortunately.

Read a few articles that claim it will fit the Omega D2 as well as the Beseler 4x5 but I see a bit of difference on the head compared to the one you have and the advertised KHB. Thanks for the heads up with that.

Hi Dennis, Just catching up on emails now, so apologies for the delayed reply. The cold light unit itself is indeed the same as what is in the picture you sent. I bought a separate cone for the Omega D2 to adapt the cold light for the Omega, and I modified the cone to use VC filters. The light source can be separated from the cone, in which case it may very well fit a Beseler or other 4x5 enlarger, but I cannot say that for certain. You may know more than I do about that? Let me know what you think. Peter

I have seen the adapter that is needed for the conversion to Beseler but the one listed at KHB is out of stock there but I will continue my search and let you know if I come up with one elsewhere. The adapter on the left is what I would need for the conversion but there might be one somewhere in the world as I just want it closer to home.
