Arista liquid film developer equivalent?

With all the discussions that I have been reading about the equivalent film developers, its making me wonder what the equivalent is to the stuff I am currently using. Arista liquid film developer. It would make it a lot easier to be able to use the various developing charts if I knew what the functional equivalent is.

I don't think there is enough information in that MSDS to suggest an equivalent. Only the so-called hazardous components are listed.

A better way would be to compare development data they supply for it with manufacturer's development data for other developers. If it's the same as something else common it should be easy to figure out.

why don't you try sprint film developer. it is also in a concentrated liquid ( mixes 1:9 ) and is easy to use.
i have been using it with no problems or regrets off and on since about september 1981 or 1980 ...
if you don't have it locally ( lots of schools use it ) you can get it directly from sprint off their website

they also make print developer, stop, fix, fix remover, end run and other photochemistries ...

Well I think I have figured out what developer it is. The nearest I can figure is that its Clayton F60. Clayton F60 is similar to the Ilford DDx?

Only hydroquinone is listed as a developing agent. It's very uncommon to have only hydroquinone without something like metol or phenidone in a commercial print developer. So either this information was left out of the msds, or it's a fairly unique developer. My money is on the former, but that would put it in one of several developer families (most notably MQ and PQ) each of which has many variants. Conclusion: the msds does not allow for identification of a direct substitute.

Freestyle has better prices and ships much cheaper than Sprint or T-Mobile for that matter.
