I assume this is FOMAPAN 400....right? If so does it have the same propensity to build the highlights too fast as did the EDU Ultra/FOMA 200? I am using HP5+ at the moment and enjoy the extreme ease of developement and rather straight line response but if I get the EDU Ultra product at their fanatastic price I am in for it as lonf as I don't have dedvelopement trouble I did with the 200. I might add I shoot 5x7 and the extra stop or 2 of speed of the HP5+ is also welcome. Thanks in advance

I agree with Stradibarius. I really like this film (120) and have no quality issues with it nor the asa 100 version.
It is the same as fomapan - except for the box and the price.

I have used 35mm Foma 400 in the past and love the tones but not the grain. I also had some come through with blemishes and scratches on the emulsion, and I don't think it was processing or camera-related because I had no problems before or after with other film. Have they got their quality control sorted in recent years?

It's pretty forgive too.
I started another thread about accidentally shoot AristaEDU 400 @ 100. Here are a couple of the shots.
I developed this in HC110 1+50 for 7 min @20C.

I love Arista EDU 400 and 100 and I use HC-110 to soup it too. Would you Arista 400 at ASA 100 again?

I even did a night shot in total darkness exposed for an hour with Arista EDU 400 ASA soup in HC-110 1:100, stand development for an hour. It worked out fine. The film is cheap and beautiful.

In 6x7 I process it with Rodinal. I must like grain ... but I don't find enough of it with that combo. Must try 35!

Has anyone pushed this Edu Ultra film or the Fomapan 400 film 2 stops to EI1600? how did it turn out?
