Thank everyone for their input on my post from earlier in the day. Your responses raised another issue. If all or some of these films suffer from light leak problems, that brings another piece into the equation. The film will be used in an Agfa Clack, a Zero Image pinhole and a couple of Voigtlander folders, each of which has the little red window in the back and a couple of which leave a little to be desired in the tight fit department. Does that affect the advice given earlier. Thanks in advance, Bill Barber

I've had no problem with light leaks. The curling has been solve by adding a lead fishing weigh to the bottom clip when drying. I am quite satified with this film (so far).

Just shot a roll of the 400 in 120. Very curly - but it does not affect the images, and its easy to deal with. Once its in a neg carrier, even a glassless one, it seems to be fine - so its just a matter of inconvenience, and small one in my opinion. It gace me nice, evenly developed negatives and images that compare with other traditional 400 films - no trace of any inherent quality issues in my roll. And as tight fit goes - I rolled it through a Holga - you should have no issues

The paper itself should be no problem. The paper is more than thick enough to block light.

Bring masking tape to replace the crap the adhesive they use.

And on the holga, do you have a new "Foam insert" model or the older "no foam model?"

That can make a difference.....

Hi Bill, I see you're in Houston, I'm in Beaumont! Small world. Well anyway, I too shoot an Agfa Clack occasionally, and when I go to Germany in October, I hope to pick up a Click.

I have 3 Clacks, and 1 of them does give me light leaks, so I've narrowed down to the best one, and keep that one in the Clack case for use. The light leaks I was having was in testing in a Rolleiflex 3.5e with a Planar lens.

In comparing tonality, with Bergger (which was my premise), I found them to be basically the same, but with Bergger-marked film, I had no problems with the backing paper. Fortepan 200 did give me a few leaks on a couple of frames, but not all the way through.

I'll be bringing about 100 rolls back with me in October, will test with JOBO system then.

Well, actually I'm in Sugar Land. I have a Clack, which on some of my images was a little soft on one side. I'll see how the images are affected after I used my handle Swiss Army knife to take it apart and clean the lens element. It seems to do a great job with color, as well as, black and white. I just got a pinhole modified Clack from Germany which I haven't had a chance to use, yet. I'm thinking about some images along the North jetty and lighthouse on Bolivar.

I serve as President of the Houston Photographic Society and as such usually write an article for our monthly newsletter the Silver Image (hpsonline.org). This month's piece is titled "Click, Clack, I was taking a bath" and will include several images done on my first outing with my Clack. Should be online in the next week or ten days.

If you see some big tall guy running around southeast Texas with a Clack in his hand, it will probably be me. Bill Barber

My Holga appears to be devoid of any foam - the only problem I have is that the film on the exposed end is not rolled very tightly (I think a little tape wedged under the new roll of film will solve that by adding abit of tension), which may have cause some seepage around edges - but the film itself does not appear to be responsible for any abnormaliies at all.
