Are there any user groups out there dedicated to the use of Canon film cameras?

I'm an Olympus guy, however have enough Canon gear that I would like to communicate with others in that camp.

Yes, there are groups for just at about any camera you can think of.

Personally, beside this site, which in my favorite, I belong to the largeformatphotography forum, rangefinder.com, a F1 group for Canons, a Zeiss repair forum and a couple of others.

Just type in the name of the camera you want to find a forum of, with the word, "forum" and you pull up what you are looking for.
