Buy this, somebody! After faffing around with various annoying ball heads over the years - I bought one of these two years ago and it's my favourite thing - holds a field camera (my Wista, or even my big Burke & James) as solid as a rock and doesn't move once set AT ALL. The Arca Swiss QR plate system, often copied, is very very secure...
