as I noted above, opera on android.

yes I could use chrome but I prefer opera which I use for all other applications.

having to use a separate browser for one site is a pain in the apse.

it.Ll also be a pain in the apse to have to use a separate android app for apug when every other site I use can be got in tapatalk.

I know people keep saying how terrible a security risk tapatalk is, but noone has ever given any details of any exploits or data theft so far as I am aware.

anyway, your site, your rules. I'm just registeringmy discontent...

I'm in the apple developer program. This could be a while, and they are extremely particular about their product rules. This could go back-and-forth.

*update -The app was submitted for review Friday (iOS), this should go through any day. Then they'll be working on the Android version (which seems to be nearly finished as well).

Ok, their iOS app has been approved. They are about to open their store for purchase and setup etc. Sounds like they are close to the Android app as well. We should hopefully be up and running on the iOS app early next week. More soon...

Sorry, I should have clarified. APUG will be purchasing rights to the app, the app will be free to download for all.

Sorry, we're not quite there yet. I'm watching the discussions closely. It looks like they'll have a guide published in a couple days which details everything they need from me to get the app running for us. So far doesn't sound major. There are also a lot of people giving feedback on minor UI issues so it might best to wait for the first patch. I'll see what I can do to get it running asap.

Any further updates on this?
The beta testing is dragging on a bit. I now have instructions/requirements and am putting together all the info and items they need from me.

definitely
Awesome, the iOS 10 is pretty nifty and has much more intuitive features like the press sensitive options.

Oh, will the app have a "night mode" where it all goes black and the text is dark grey so you can read it at night in bed without disturbing your partner?

Can't wait for the app, looking forward to seeing it.

It's still somewhat in Beta and I'm on the waiting list to be activated. Not sure if it has night mode but they are fielding feedback and I'll be sure to pass that on.

Here is the latest from the developers. Sadly dragging on, but it sounds like they are making a lot of progress in the beta testing.

Any news?
They're still in development, you can keep track of it here: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/native-xenforo-app-release-details.119853/page-12

I'm still waiting for it to get a bit closer to 'gold' as it's still in beta, and for iphone/android. They posted a recent video showing a lot of progress with android.

I need to run a thread on what are the biggest gripes with the current skin in mobile. I might be able to fix a few annoyances at least.
