Now you tell me, way too late with that advice!

So if I got this straight, Peter (aka Defender of Film) sent a text for Síle to bring a DIGITAL camera to the opening of NO PIXELS, hmm "No Pixels on Pixels" :D

I assume it was the drink texting Peter or were you at the digital Guinness again?

Yes that about sums it up, he was talking through his... drink again!

Let that be a lesson to everyone, never let Sile take your photo after she's downed a bottle and a half of red wine

Actually Peter, ya mad scone, I'm allergic to red wine... so I think you must have been hitting the bottles yourself..

Friends -- I managed to get to Dublin last week and checked out the exhibit. All I can say is . . . . AWESOME!!! Fintan and Peter did a yeoman's job on the matting, framing, and hanging and it all looks outstanding. VERY well done. Kudos all around, especially kudos to all the shooters and the excellent work. Thanks to all for joining and making it happen -- now when's the next one?! I was down in Cobh over the weekend and really urge you to try for Sirius in Cobh or maybe Cork for the next one. Time to spread the glory! Thanks again to all concerned.

Do I just front up to Airfield and take my photos back or is someone taking them all or are we all meeting up at some stage to do this?

The exhibition is being taken down tomorrow and they are packing the prints and storing them. I will be in Airfield's Darkroom for an open day workshop on Saturday 18th and will collect the unsold prints then. If anyone can collect their prints that day, that would be great.

Alternatively, Airfield told me Monday was a good day to collect prints but ring Sile beforehand (01 2984301) just to be sure.

Nine prints were sold in total so well done to everyone, I think the exhibition was a great success.

Please note that if you wish to call into Airfield to collect prints, this can be done from 10am to 5pm on Monday 13th or Saturday 18th October only.

Please ring Sile in Airfield (above number) if you need assistance on Monday 13th and ring me on 086 0748459 if you come Saturday 18th.

If you can't make it in on either of these dates, I will hold onto the prints for you.

Just a quick reminder for anyone who can call into Airfield tomorrow to collect their prints. I will be there from 10am to 5:30pm so if you are calling in, please ring me at 086 0748459 when you get there.

I will hold onto any prints not collected and we can arrange handover another time.

All the prints have now left Airfield. I can give Vincent and Mel theirs at the meeting in December and Fintan is looking after Dave's print till he's over in Ireland again.

Thank you so much for all your good work on this, Peter! And you, too, Fintan! I hope this will become a regular event as it was well-done and the photos were excellent. Hopefully, some of the rest of us can help out more on the next one.

I would like to join with Michael in expressing my thanks to both Peter & Fintan in organizing this exhibition. Hopefully I can play a more active role next year.

Cheers

Thanks Michael and Vincent.

It was a super proud moment for me to see this come to fruition and to put my prints on a wall beside other APUGers who I am lucky enough to now call friends.

I have learned a lot through APUG but the friends I've made makes me feel very indepted to Sean Ross.

Heres to 2009

Airfield are holding and Print & Craft Fair on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th December and have asked me if anyone wishes to display their prints (framed or un-framed) for sale, they would be welcome to do so.

I just thought this is an opportunity to sell any unsold prints from our exhibition or any other prints you might have. They can provide us with a room and its open form 11am to 4pm on both days.

If any one wants to take part please let me know as soon as possible. I would like to do it myself but may only go if others are going. Only one person needs to be present at any time so we could share our time there.
