Fellow apuggers if you haven't seen the recent copy of Black and White Photography then you might want to check the editor's note. Ailsa offers up a glowing recommendation for our group and its mouthful of a name

NZ still hasn't gotten the latest copy of black and white yet. The only shop in auckland that has it is 'megamags' but they seem a few months behind. I look forward to seeing it

The latest one is issue 22, June 2003. It has a lady in a white sweater and white hat on the cover.
I want to use this opportunity to say to Ailsa how much I love her magazine. Have been suscribed to it from the very beginning and would not want to miss it! I am even starting to see it appear at newsagents in Holland. Great!

June! what part of the world is already in June

Here in Aussie, we just got Issue 20... I get my wife to spend her lunchtime chasing a copy at a newsagent that reliably has copies. She's a good girl!

I just picked up a copy that came out today here in Canada, it's the May issue, #21. I was told that they were always a month behind becasue of the shipping situation. Inside the front is a similar report on the club from Ailsa as mentioned above.

The photo on the front is of an african-american woman (is that the PC term nowadays?) against a medium grey background. I'm not sure if it's the newest mag that's been sent to the printer, but it's the newest one at Hastings here in Denton, TX.

Magazine publishing is a complex thing, especially when your publication sells all over the world!

On planet Ailsa, the 'latest' issue is no.23, the July edition, as it's just gone to press, but it won't appear on the news stand in the UK until 19 June. The issue that mentions APUG is no.21, the May 2003 edition. The issue that's currently on sale in the UK is no.22, the June edition. As for the rest of the world - that's anyone's guess!

So now you understand why I'm always so confused...
