Bob, John, Eric...

If any of you do this next year I will be happy to help again. It was a lot of fun. If there is anything (with in my capabilities) I can do to carry some of the burden please don't hesitate to ask.

Michael

I want to thank Michael (and Lynn) for their great assistance to me at the confernce.

And my best to the Toronto Camera Club.

Is that why he looks smaller int the photo? :D

I have to admit to putting on a bit of weight since that photo was taken. When the image was taken, 2002, I was heavily into weightlifting, but hurt my back real bad and had to stop.

This conference was STUPENDOUS!

I am just heading out a couple of days rest at the cottage.

Both John and I think we will do this again next year end of may early june, with most of the instructors invited back. We will see how things pan out over the next few weeks and make our decision End of May Early June.

Thankyou all for the kind words , it was a pleasure meeting one and all and I hope we can do it again

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU to everyone who had a hand and a brain and a lot of physical muscle to make it all come together! This was an amazing event by itself, and especially as a first-time effort. The next conferences (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink!) will not necessarily be easier, but they will be even better, I'm sure, with this one to refer back to.

Looking to '07 and saving my money for it!

Sandy; both Lynn and I think it was a pleasure and an honour to assist you at the conference.

Being a volunteer was a great experience. Not only did I get to meet and work with Bob, John, Eric, Dinesh, Ian (Rogueish) and all the wonderful staff at Elevator. I had a chance to meet and talk informally with Tim and Les as well as Sandy. Gentlemen all and enthusiastic to share their love and knowledge of photography. If that wasn't enough Lynn and I got to meet and share in a conversation between Sandy and Mike Robinson. Mike is the one who took Sandy's Daguerreotype portrait. All in all a week that's left me on cloud 9 to this day.

I will be a full-time grad student in photography next year which means I will have a lot more leeway in getting out of things for a photo conference and would love to come out early to help, especially if it's in the latter part of May.

I was going to offer the same thing, I could definitely come up early and help out, it would be a pleasure to do so, and maybe others from New York & New England would be interested as well ... Krystyna

wherever the conference is held, can I please ask that the organisers try to include the ninety something percent of members that cant attend.

podcasts, streaming video, PDFs or whatever, I'd like to see the conference being more inclusive.

I'll definitely be going up early again next year, so if anyone wants a ride again, you're welcome to join me in my bug smashing vehicle!

Regards, Art.

Good idea, except for the podcasts.

Ditto. I got some really good shots that night and I got to see downtown at night, which I wouldn't have otherwise.

Might go if you change it to a FILM photography get together. I still don't know what an analog is.
