In a last effort of going against my beliefs of throwing good stuff in the dumpster, I have a box of disassembled Nikkormat junk weighing approx 12 pounds on a cheap bathroom scale. None of this junk is packed in a way I would demand on an ebay shipment. But in the box of junk I will include 2 FTN bodies in actual good working condition that I have serviced and lubed. I just never gave them a final re-foaming. I'll wrap them in bubble wrap and throw them in with the rest of the junk. That's all I promise. You pay shipping only from the big sewer of Charlotte NC, and they will be on their way. Total weight will be approx 12 lb.

Charlotte must be a lot nicer than I remember it.
Only positive is the two-taco deal at the Jack in the Box fast food joint.

I've never been off the freeway in Charlotte proper. Some of the suburbs (like Matthews) are pretty nice.

I did spend some time at one point out in the 'burbs north of the Speedway looking for (as far as I know) the only Taco Time restaurant east of Montana -- only to find out that it had closed, replaced by a Mexican restaurant I didn't recognize recently enough that Google Maps thought it was still there. @Devin@RFCo I'd have to look when I'm home. I think I recall seeing a shutter, or maybe a body with shutter.

[response to deleted post deleted--mod.]

@Devin@RFCo I have one shutter loose from the body, but the metal leaves have some dents; might be a good parts donor for gears or springs, but I doubt it could be restored to full operation. I have two partial bodies with what appear to be intact shutters, but I have no way to test them due to the state of disassembly (no means to cock or release).

I picked this up for the working bodies (the FT-2 is sitting near my left elbow right now; the two FT-n bodies are fully functional, but I haven't loaded them yet), and I'm unlikely to want to learn enough about repairing these to have a need for the loose parts. Aside from a loose pentaprism I want to try to retrofit on my Konstruktor, I'd happily pass along the rest of the box of parts (if you're an expert in Nikkormat repair, there look to be enough parts to make at least one more working camera and have some leftovers -- though I don't even know which version they are other than FT-something, based on the shutter speed ring around the lens mount) for the cost of shipping. My promise to the member who originally offered them was that they wouldn't wind up in a dumpster or landfill; I'll just ask you to keep to this.

If you're interested, PM me and I'll weigh the remaining box (should be a good bit less than twelve pounds now) and figure out the USPS shipping cost. Wave money at me, and I might be convinced to part with one or both of the FT-n bodies, too; I'm not enough of a Nikon fan to feel the need for three very similar bodies.

12 lbs of Nikkormats.....so you have 2, or 3 of them?

Three working bodies, two partials, one shell, and a bunch of loose parts. The FT-2 is mine. Negotiation in progress for other bits.
