That is a pretty "famous" frame. I always assumed it was post-war...but i guess it could have been during.?
German art is so fascinating.
After 1918 the place was a total mess, yet the creativity of Germany/Berlin was thriving. So weird, that from THAT, Hitler garnered so much support.
If that damned Viennese Art School had just accepted him.....
