If you cut the filter to a disc shape the same size as (or smaller than) the front of the lens that would work. There is a sufficient amount of flat surface to allow it to be stuck on, and there's a reasonable gap between the front of the lens unit and the sliding cover.doesn't the lens move out and in when taking a shot?
