Hello everyone, Just wandered over from APUG for a bit of advice on film scanners.

I work almost exclusively with 35mm and my current scanner no longer cuts the mustard. I've provisionally settles on a Reflecta Crystal Scan 7200 as it's cheap, scans at a high enough resolution (Heard it's real resolution is circa 3600 DPI, but anything larger than 2400 is enough for me) and can take uncut negatives (Something I like as I roll my own 72 exposure rolls of dubious polyester film).

The thing I'm most concerned with is not the scanner, but more the shop. I'm pretty reluctant to deal with anyone other than eBay or Amazon after a parcel I ordered once took 3 YEARS to arrive, however I could save £70 compared to the other places.

The site is ScanDig.com and they are directly linked from filmscanner.info who pretty much juts appear to review the scanners they sell. I believe these two sites are owned/operated by the same people, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

Sorry if this is off-topic or a banned topic, I just don't want to fork over a considerable sum of money to a website I don't know.

Many Thanks, Mike
