Hola,
Anyone use one of these things? It can cover 6x9 for the Beseler 23C model. Just wondering if I can get full frame 6x6 and 6x9 on them. I usually need to file my holders to get that but wondering what the tolerances are to these holders. Hmmm, I wonder if I can take the glass out, file it and put it back. I don't really know how these things are put together.

Filing glass is not an easy proposition, I can guarantee you that, and if you break a piece of optical newton glass, your pocket book may hurt as well.

Oh, I meant taking the glass out, filing the neg holder, and putting the glass back in. I don't know if these things are permanently on the holder or if it can come out.

By the way where can you find these neg holders I've been wanting one but I didn't see them on B+H's site.

I have the one for 4X5. It lasted 2 weeks before I broke the glass and my butt still hurts from the replacement cost,Dave was right. When I replaced it I checked and the hinge was too tight causing the upper glass to flex. I adjusted (bent) the hinge to relieve the pressure. The glass also has to be registered to each other so that contact will be even.
