Paper

Bob Carnie has tried this paper if I remember correctly. Either he will stumble upon this thread or you can try to PM him. He's a great guy and very knowledgeable. I believe he ordered it from Megapixels in Japan....
Best, Peter

Hi There

As Peter has stated yes indeed I am a great guy.

As well I have tried this paper . very good indeed much like Ilford mg4 but slightly warmer.
Problem I had was the price getting it into Canada was horrific. ended up somewhere around 6 dollars a sheet Canadian.
I would definately use this paper and I have been bugging my Fuji rep to sell it in cut sheet and mural rolls.
This paper would go over very well in North America market if Fuji decided to bring it in.

Thanks Bob!

I guess I`ll give it a try, when I choose the superslow(2-3 weeks) SAL-shipping from Japan, the packages always, for some reason slips through customs here
Maybe I have found an alternative for Azo, until M&P gets the new paper out...
The Rembrant is singleweight and and graded(2 and 3), according to Megaperls.

I looked closer at my own link, and I now see that it is VC, but you can choose between "default" grade 2 or 3 for use without any filter.... The 8x10 paper I`m considering is single-weight.

Yes they are Graded VC papers. I think Fuji has
with these papers done what all other producers of
VC papers have failed to do. That is, they have
admitted that VC papers, MG, MC, PC, their
own VC, etc, do not really deliver.

Graded Multigrade paper. VC paper grade 2 and 3.
Sounds a little odd don't you think? Perhaps Fuji will
add grades 1, 4, and 5 to their VC paper line-up. Dan

G2 - VC, double weight, grade 2 without filter
G3 - VC, double weight, grade 3 without filter
