I stumbled across the Mercury webpage while randomly Googling "Does a medium format bulk film loader exist?" and instantly got hooked on the idea.
I'm wondering if anyone has had success with such a camera, and which configuration they used?
I'm reading through the 100-ish page guide now, and I think I'm getting a sense of how the whole thing works. I don't yet understand, though, if lenses can be interchanged as easily as they can on an ordinary view camera, with just a lens board swap, or if everything is more or less bolted incredibly securely in place. Similarly, if I wanted to switch between a 6x9 Horseman back and a 4x5 negative, whether that would necessitate two entirely different Mercury cameras. Thanks!
