Hey,
It has been too long since I have been online and I can see the great lakes region is real quiet.
Anyone out there?

NE Ohio here too - I work downtown Cleveland.

Hi all. Glad there are some members still in our area. Any projects or outings planned?

Heading into North East Indiana with the M2 for a men’s retreat on 11, 12, 13. Hope to see some things to capture.

*shuffles into the thread, brushes off cobwebs* Hello, fellow NEOhioan here, thread is so old the baseball team has a new name.

I used to listen to Triv all the time 15 years ago when I had a morning commute. I knew time keeps moving, but still surprised me a bit when I realized he was 74!

He was the voice of my growing years. AM radio is just a dependable medium, it's something that's always there. Don't think we'll get another guy like him, who's gonna hire a high school dropout wiseguy these days?

We should get the old gang back together!

We should meet up in the metropark.
Richfield diner is long gone but Fisher's is still around.

Sounds good. South Chagrin, Brecksville, Girdled Road... All a whole lot prettier than the Cuyahoga Valley. South Chagrin is especially convenient for LF shooters hauling gear. Also some really nice places in Eastern PA - Dorothy could weigh in here.

I've always wanted to go back and reshoot the bridge on River Road under Rt 8 I think is where it is. I had so much flare on my lens from the sun, that it was a huge disappointment. There are other places as well. Glad we've made it this far even on-line. good to hear from you all!

This location now has a stone stairway for access. Not everyone was comfortable going down the steep dirt path. These images are from ten years ago. It looks pretty different now.

I think htimsdj was there when I took this. He showed me the parking spot to get to the path up Chagrin river. I have not been back since; not sure if the parking spot is still there.
