Anyone know where to buy 120 film in Kyoto?

I'm off to Kyoto for a week's holiday and am wondering if anyone knows where to buy some film. I do not want to spend a long time trying to track down a store that still has film so any pointers are greatly appreciated!

I got note from a Twitter follower that Yodobashi Camera or Bic Camera near Kyoto Station should have 'em. If not, he says try Sanjou Sakuraya near the intersection of Kawaramachi & Takoyakushi (near "downtown" Kyoto). Good luck, and go to Fushimi Inari to photograph the clichéd, yet beautiful nonetheless arches:

Absolutely they do - when I was in Kyoto in June, both shops had a healthy fridge stock! I bought Tri-X in 120, but there was heaps of Kodak and Fuji film in ALL sizes.

I checked for you , 199000 yen from japan exposures shop black new. It makes 2147 dollars.
I again checked US prices and at B&H , 1660 Dollars new grey.

Wow....Japan is as bad as China. Oh well, no souvenir camera for me this trip.

Believe me , an Zeiss Ikon with Tessar lens will cost you max 300 dollars and faraway better camera. Fuji is only camera porn and results are not good as always with Japanese lenses.

If you have time check internet galleries for either cameras. If you have a good eye and taste , you will agree with me.

Photography is like music , if you start to listen cheap stuff , you continue with pop music , if you ask yourself why Beethoven is so good and start to listen from Karajan and others , you dont listen cheap stuff again and good taste spreades to gamelan , drupat ,flamenco , tango , bossa nova , fusion , free jazz , jazz rock and others.

But it is important the equipment again , you cant hear Stradivari with digital anything. You have to buy good electronics and analog always win.

I guess that's why Contax used lenses made in Japan. Or why all the Zeiss branded lenses today are made by Cosina in Japan. Or why modern Hasselblads all use Fuji lenses

I dont shoot 135, only 120. Fuji lenses are top notch. I have 24 x 36 prints made from my GSW690 and they are fantastic.

If a GF670 really cost $2200, I'd pay it. But it doesnt in the US so one day when I get there, I will have to buy it then. $600 buys a lot of film.

Need some help here. The main station is a confusing mess to me. I spent a few hours walking around but saw nowhere film could be bought. Need a serious stash of 120 film starting tomorrow morning. Any direct pointers?

Yodobashi is directly north from the station - across from all the taxis about 200 metres up. Bic camera is a few hundred metre to the left as you come out the north side of the Station. They are both really close - couple of minutes walking distance!

Wow you guys are fast. OK, I think I am in good shape for tomorrow. Now the huge problem will be deciding what places to hit first after I am loaded up with film. This city is enormously wealthy with sightseeing options!!!

Glad to see they carry large format film there, although the Ilford section looks as bare as it did in Fukuoka a few days ago (I was stocking up for an upcoming trip to Thailand/Laos).
