I came into a large number of enlarging lenses with a buy of darkroom gear in the last couple of months. Among the lenses were some Fujinon EFC-II optics in various focal lengths. They are mounted in large metal mounts with a 3 hole mount around the perimeter. They seem expensively made. I dropped a note to Fuji quite a while back and have heard nothing. Does anyone know anything about these? I imagine it's most likely that they were part of some commercial processing equipment but I wasn't going to go through the trouble of building lens mount boards, etc if they're inappropriate for general darkroom duty and made for some specialized purpose such as 1:1 duplicating, etc.

EBC is with a good coating, I think it stands for electron beam coating; no clue what EFC might be. Electrofunk coating. Extremely funny coating. Extended focus correction; yes, I will go with that, that is my final answer. Don't need fancy coatings for enlarging lenses.
