Anyone Know of a head device for a loupe?

Is there any trick anyone can pass around or does anyone know of a headband type device for using a loupe hands-free??

Jewelers glasses or goggles. I used them to aligne contrast masks with chromes. I'm sure that would do for quick VC control but you'll need a loupe.

You will find several types at jewlers or clock supply houses.

Note! Cheap ones are from India, better ones are german or swiss. The first web site has the better loops and accessories, the later two may ge good enough and will have less expensive ones.

OK, let me guess. You are over 45. Well, uh, so am I. The coolest thing I have found so far is a pair of flip down reading glasses that fit on top of your normal glasses. You can flip them back out of the way when you want to look at everything on the groundglass. They can be found at any place that sells fly fishing gear. Definitely a little geek-fest sort of aura about them, but they really work. I mean, you are already looking a little conspicuous with a 35 pound mahogony camera, ne c'est pas?

As I work near Hatton Garden (Major diamond dealing area) in London, I hoped to find a shop selling Jeweller's supplies, & I did. I tried out a cheap, plastic eye loupe, and I can see it being a great help working on the GG with both hands making adjustments to the movements. As I said the lens is plastic, but I can't see that being a problem, optically it looked OK in the centre. For an idea what I mean, check this link out:
