Anyone hoarding high speed color film?

I have a bunch of 35mm Fuji pro 800Z, which I have oddly never used. (I also have almost 80 rolls of 120 E100GX in the freezer, but you weren't asking about that. I just like to brag.)

I have a freezer full of Provia 400X. I use it for night photography under moonlight. It took me forever to test it and get a rough idea of the reciprocity failure, and how to shoot it in a way where it just looks good. A lot the reason why it took so long is that it's sometimes overcast when the moon is out. It does a pretty good job of having exposure times that are only around a few minutes.

I shot a roll a while back it came out with a super expired look. It must have gotten left out of the freezer, because I shot another roll and it looked normal.

This has been the most painful film discontinuation for me.

It really left a gap in the world of E6 films, being that all other quality slide film is only ISO 100 or slower.

I was just getting into shooting 400X when Fuji killed it off. Painful indeed.

Not a mass hoarder but I have a brick of Fuji Superia 800 in the freezer and always keep an eye out for Lomo 800 on sale.

20+ years ago Fuji Super G and later Superia 1600 were my choice films for attending gigs. Shot some wonderful photos in an era when everyone else was ruining lighting effects by using flashes with 200 speed film.

I don't bother anymore. The color casts on expired provia 400x bothered me, can't imagine superia being much better

I got married a couple of days ago and shot my last two rolls of Natura 1600. Digital only now if I want to shoot colour in low light sadly

Even though you got married, the physics and chemistry of photography has not changed and one is still allowed to use films as slow as ISO 25 for low light level photography.

I should have added - hand held, and without flash. In which case the physics and chemistry of photography state that ISO25 is as much use as a chocolate teapot

But at this point i'm assuming you're wilfully ignoring the point
