I spent a month there last year, I couldn't find any APUG members in Chile. Not much English is spoken there at all.

My wife's cousin is based there and also one of her University friends so we have good contacts.

PM sent

It seems that I am the first Chilean member. If you need some help or information about Santiago, don’t hesitate to ask.
I usually read the forum, but I subscribed just a minute ago.

I needed your help last year :D

Getting 120 B&W film is very difficult in Santiago . . . it's a wonderful city, so clean and friendly and a lot to see.

Welcome to APUG.

It’s true that it's hard to find 120 film in Santiago and I suppose that it’s the problem of Ann. I usually buy the film in USA by mail, but you can find 120 B&W film in Santiago.

I eventually found a very helpful Lab/photo store and cleared their shelf of 120 B&W film, well all but the XP2. I could have had more the following day but had a very early morning flight to Peru the next day. 35mm films were no problem at all particularly near the Catholic University and that arcade full of photo stores catering for students etc. It's all Ilford I couldn't find Tmax at all.

Plenty of Ilford or Foma B&W papers available in Santiago, strangely the Ilford graded paper is called "Filter" but is Ilfospeed.
