I have a lens and a camera body in the shop for 15 and 12 months (respectively). I haven't been hearing back from them as of late. Months have gone by since my last email and I've written to them twice to see whats going on, and haven't heard boo. Anyone have a different or similar experience recently?

I had them CLA my entire Mamiya 6 kit back in October. I opted to pay the extra to have it rushed through in a weeks time. Otherwise they told me it was gonna be months. I said no way. The service was prompt and fantastic as it usually is from them. Not sure what’s going on now. It’s possible that Bob is just too busy and or maybe doesn’t have enough help to answer emails/calls. Have you tried calling?

I just had a repair done on an Arca-Swiss 4x5 front format frame and the service was exceptional. I know Bob was supposed to be unavailable for 10 days this month, but sounds like you've been dealing with issues for awhile now. Sorry to hear of your experience because I was thinking that PCW would be my main repair facility.

I sent PCW a Linhof viewfinder for repair a number of years ago. Emails, phone calls, then finally communication stopped. And my viewfinder is gone. If you look around Photrio i think you’ll find a few disturbing stories about PCW. I’m glad to hear some people have had good experiences.

I should admit I don't have a lot of interest in dealing with folks that are tangentially associated with folks that have absolutely no history here, who are attempting to hijack a thread that is not even associated with the classified that I posted. I would try calling but their website is down. I tried reaching them through the phone in the last email I received from them in January, the phone rings and I get some really great string music, but no human point of contact. Would you kindly share the phone number you may have on file via PM? Thanks!

Thank you, I wrote them another mail letting them know their website was down and it looks like they got the message that I was starting to get very worried, and they wrote me back. Appreciate everyones help here!

I don't understand why people just don't pick up the phone and call them. You do know that today's phones are not only cameras, right?

Their website was down because they hadn't renewed their subscription to whatever service they use for hosting . The website has the phone number. Bob has moved twice, so theres some confusion if a change of numbers has occurred as a result of the move. I called them twice. They did not pick up each time. I left a message, and they did not call me back. Hope you understand the situation better now, but I can break it down further if you remain confused.

You know I got one of them fancy iPhones, still haven’t figured out the camera, can’t even figure out how to load film in the darn thing.

I've had a shutter there since February. Except for a few sporadic emails - I haven't heard anything in several weeks. My phone calls went unanswered. I'm not in a super hurry, but I would just like to know that something is happening and my shutter hasn't been lost!
