Seduced by the Ektar, I've picked up a couple of these at thrift stores, and was wondering if anyone shoots with them?

Both are VR35's, one is the "medalist K14" and other is the K12, both have 35/2.8 Ektars.

Because of all the other toys laying around, I've never actually run a roll through either of them, though am planning to shortly. Before I do, though, does anyone have any advice/comments/critiques?

Thanks in advance.

My wife has a couple of Kodaks 35mm and APS. I am not sure if Ektar is anything more than a brand name these days or if the lens used in point and shoots has any relationship with the old ektars which were at one time were quite good. But they are ok users. Although my wife shoots digital she still takes her 35mm Kodak point and shoot when we travel.
