I've just developed a bunch of TMY2 in xtol 1+1 and man is this stuff nice. I cannot believe the detail. Of course I am using my Hasselblad 905 SWC which certainly helps, but this stuff is really nice.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Well, I don't use xtol but I do like the TMY-2 a lot. It is pretty impressive in all formats. I think I would be pretty excited by most anything coming from a SWC, those are pretty cool too.

I had the same feeling with some initial test runs with the combo. Some limited printing so far shows that I need to sort out some minor issues but I think it will be a good, predictable combination. Really amazing detail, as you found, too. I also found it very pleasing in 35mm but have mainly used it in 6X7 sized negatives.

Agree ... TMY-2 is stunning film, probably in almost any developer. I use it in 120 and 5x7 and soup it in Pyrocat-HD and it's perfect for me.

Love the film in 120 and 4x5. I like it much in Xtol or D-76 (either, 1+1), and it looks great in TMAX developer also.

TMY2 is my default B&W film these days. It can do whatever I need it to do.

TMY2 in Rodinal is my choice combo. In my mind, Rodinal is nice because it basically lasts forever and it is sharp (with gritty grain). TMY2 is nice because it is not 'too' grainy in Rodinal - 35mm to 8X10 is quite accpetable.
