Anyone else got this super annoying issue with Epson Scan software?

Either you have a later version of the software without the bug or you've just never noticed the issue. It's been discussed on several forums and was directly acknowledged by Epson:

At school here we have several V600's, on macs and PC's. No issues. At home, I have a V750 purchased about 9 years ago, connected to macbook pro, purchased in 2013. I'll check out your link. Thanks!
