I'm on quick fly through, but have all this Sunday 1st October to poke around. Any camera stores with analog gear near Granville Island, preferably walking distance, but that I mean some 3-5 km. Needs to be opened on Sunday of course. 35mm and MF gear, not so much LF.

Yes, the food is great, but beware of the seagulls.@GregY Thanks, that clear me up for some walk around and some shooting (D). I hear food market on Granville Island is interesting to see. Here I'm headed shortly.
Wound up going in opposite direction towards cruise ship terminal as Food Market from afar was clearly very crowded and that scared me off before reaching it any closer.Yes, the food is great, but beware of the seagulls.
My wife bought a lovely plate of food, and because it was such a beautiful sunny day, we decided to eat outside.
She got about two paces out the door and was ambush dive-bombed by a seagull which knocked the plate out of her hands. All the other seagulls within eyesight quickly joined in and the food was gone in a loud flapping swarm of gulls.
Thought you might want to know.
Won't have a chance this time, but will keep it in mind for next time. Thanks.Beau Photo would be nice to visit but they are closed Sunday and usually open 8:30 on Mondays, but tomorrow is a holiday. Hope you enjoy our part of the world

Vancouver through my eyes.
Glad you enjoyed your visit.
I like your photos.
It is fascinating to see the familiar through the eyes of a visitor.
