Any technical explanations as to how or why film sharpness looks different from digital sharpness ??

Maybe someone in his party, I dunno. Or call it a hypothetical example, whatever.

Timothy O'Sullivan died in 1882 at the ripe old age of 42. Needless to say, there weren't any 35mm cameras around at that time.

All that fresh air and healthy living... :D

It's the party members that tried to get away out of Canyon that died first. Three, I think, were hanged in a barn in Toquerville suspected of being US Govt spies. Others got out through the East Fork of the Virgin River (the Fork I've never had to opportunity to explore myself), and faced trouble too.

I’m just glad that you didn’t die with the first guys trying to leave, and that you weren’t hanged as a spy. Just think of the great stories that we’d be denied!

What was the post processing steps on these? And what was the scanner?
They are incredible.

Does anyone know what camera Arthur Steel uses for those prints…?

Oh, I've got plenty of my own close call stories, Brian. I've been detained under near fatal circumstances for being suspected as an FBI agent. Yep ... that's what FBI agents do ... keep tabs on polygamist cults and squatters on Fed land using an 8x10 view camera atop a big wooden camera - really stealthy!
