Any other users of the Tele-Rollei in the group

Which version do you have. Mine in the third, and I think final version.

I had one for a few years, and it was a fine camera. I prefer normal lenses so I didn't get much use, so I sold it. I thought about getting the wide for a while, but decided not to because looking at photos and feeling that the perspective wasn't "right" would annoy my OCD.

Do you have the Rolleinars for yours?

I don't have the Rolleinars for this model but I did when I used the GX a few years back. I haven't found the minimal focus an issue on the camera. I only use it for portraits.

Got one to go along with my 2.8F and 3.5E. Not sure what model though. Need to sell one them at least, just can't decide which one.

I am a Rolleiflex addict. I used a 2.8 FX exclusively (single camera!) for over 10 years. Last camera I will ever sell. However, when I decided I wanted "something more" than the 80mm lens, I chose a Hasselblad instead on a Rollei Wide and Rollei Tele, despite my love for the TLR's. My primary reasons were cost and flexibility of the system. Slippery slope, I know... I probably spent more in Hasselblad gear than I would have in a Tele and Wide Rolleiflexes! Another reason was that carrying 2 or 3 Rolleiflexes, each with its own roll of film, just for a different focal length, seemed somewhat counterproductive to me.

Anyway, I am very curious to hear experiences from you Tele-Rollei users. Please keep'em coming!

Three Rolleis hanging from ones neck is a lot of bling, but I prefer one Hasselblad bodies and three lenses instead.

I have done that, with a Tele-Rollei, 3,5 F and ( think) 3,5 E3, on a day trip in the mountains. I'm not carrying three Rolleis again.

I just shoot portraits with it. The lens is great for that. If I switched to blad I would get the 180mm and 120mm but then I'm hauling more stuff. The great thing about the blad though is you can change film backs much faster than switching film on the rollei, especially when on a tripod.
